"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." ~Albert Einstein
In organization, just be able to find anything and everything.
In cooking, just make sure it doesn't taste like shit.
In football, just hit the other guy as hard as you can.
In baseball, just throw strikes, catch the ball, and hit the ball squarely.
In basketball, just put the ball in the hole more times than you let the other guy.
In poker, just get your money in good.
In life, just think about it.

I Can't Believe I Retired
From NFL betting, not poker. I'm having a breakeven poker month and really need to rededicate myself to the game. I really need to study my game harder and focus more at the tables. I ran very hot in the NFL, but I think I need to focus more on poker. I'm not sure was I running like God or just a little above expectation. Either way, I finished the NFL season picking against the spread at (41-25). That's 62.12 percent and my goal is 60 percent. I'm not sure how sustainable it was, but decided to just quit because poker is so important to me.

Been Keeping Busy
Too bad I haven't been keeping busy in grinding and working on improving my game. School is swinging into full gear, and I'm stuck procrasinating my school work. I've decided to stop being so results oriented and will stop posting graphs and only talk in general terms of how I do at the tables. What does it matter if I bitch about how many buy-ins I ran below equity(what's that even suppose to mean). What does it matter how many ptbb/100 I am running at. The only thing that matters is I am happy with my play and keep improving. I'm not going to get as many hands as I envision, and probably will stay that way until Winter Break. I've been reading a lot into Nicholas Nassim Taleb recently, and recommend it to anybody out there whether or not you are a statistical fiend. It really has challenged and changed the way I think and can't wait to finish his first book, Fooled by Randomness. I am on fire in NFL and my streak continues, and I am sad to say I bet on NBA tonight. I needed the action to write my essay. HMMM...maybe I do have a problem lol. I'm just going to keep telling myself it's not a problem if I keep winning.

Happy Election Day!

Quickpost this image to Myspace, Digg, Facebook, and others! This sums up my opinion. I'll update last month and everything else later. I am so hot in football betting right now, I just went 8-1 this weekend, too bad they weren't too big of bets. Builds confidence though and confidence breeds confidence, and success builds success.
