Progress

I'm making progress towards tilt. I quit my two headsup table when I was playing like shit and instead of chasing losses by going to a higher limit, I'm just going to chill out. The anger dissipates within the flash of tilt that accompanies it for an instant. I just laugh it off after that. It's a stupid game anyways and money is stupid anyways. It's just a number on some paper or I guess since the new age, it's just credit. If the bank says you have it, then you have it. It's really funny how worthless money is in that it's just an idea really. I guess ideas don't die though. Anyways, I'm taking a break from six max and going to focus on hu until next friday. I slumped bad today, but wasn't really focused. Sometimes I do wonder how I'm going to make it in this game. It seems like everything is just a stupid coinflip and if you can win them you make money. If you don't win coinflips, you'll have a losing day, you can only hope to contain it. I guess I can afford to take a break from grinding because I saved up a bit for tuition and bills so I'm in the clear even if I slump a few months. It's pretty silly of me to try to move up now and being so reckless, but it's like they say: "If you're too careful, your whole life can become a fuckin' grind." I'm not done taking my shot and I don't care this might not be the smart play. I know I can beat this game no matter the rough days I have. It's funny how when you're in a slump, you can't remember the last time you won a pot.

I give up not making graphs. I guess it's ok if it doesn't affect my play and such, but I'll do my best to not look at HEM too much. This month has been swingy and just haven't been focused. I'm making real progress in working out though, but gaining weight has still been a problem. Midterms are coming up soon so I don't know how many hands I can grind, but I'll do my best to make time. Below is a graph of today's attempt at moving up. I think I'm going to grind some 50nl to pay the bills now.

- move up in stakes by the end of the month

Midterms will only get in the way if I let them. I am hungry and want to grind hands.

I'm In Love with PLO

It's so fun! I guess it helps that I'm kind of in a rut in hold'em and finally started winning again in PLO. I also put my entire account balance, 1160 dollars, on Pitt moneyline -240. One time dealer! I guess I just like coinflips, because PLO is on big gigantic flipping game and there is very thin value in Pittsburg. I'm just feeling lucky! Life is one big coinflip after another after all!
